Where it all started
FOUNDER GET EVEN YOGA
I came up with the name "Get Even" for the blog Get Even Girl I created more than 10 years ago.
What began as a resource (and platform to vent) for solo mothers whose coparents were not being financially or otherwise supportive quickly turned into a space for healing and encouragement. Getting even became more about finding balance within than seeking revenge for being abandoned in parenthood. Though the blog was short-lived, I held on to the name. I knew I'd do something with it. It was too powerful not to.
Today, the mission of Get Even Yoga is to help its clients to heal themselves somatically, mentally, and emotionally by transforming their habits of thinking, being, and doing in such a way that they can live fully in joyful union with themselves and others.

What does "yoga therapy style" mean?Although yoga can be therapeutic, yoga therapy focuses more on how various yoga techniques can benefit an individual's specific condition instead of trying to master poses and sequences taught in a large-group yoga class.
