About the event

Our Shift Morning Wellness Retreat is a morning of rest and renewal, a nourishing exploration of the shifts you want to make in your life. Sessions include:

 

Journal and Flow — Using journal prompts, participants will create a mantra and set an intention for their movement practice, capturing their mental, emotional, and somatic responses in their journals. Combining journaling and yoga can help us to deepen our awareness of and connection to our bodies, our minds, our True Self.

 

Healing Through Food — Cooking class to introduce Japanese traditional food culture. We’ll make our own post-yoga breakfast — miso soup from scratch, beginning with dashi and steeping seasonal vegetables. We’ll explore the 15 healing practices and principles of Washoku, and how to use them every day.
